Letter, 1773 Oct. 25, New Castle, Del.

Acknowledges the receipt of a copy of the Virginia House of Burgesses' resolution proposing the establishment of intercolonial committees of correspondence, and sends a copy (not present) of the minutes and proceedings of the Delaware House in response. The letter is signed by Caesar Rodney, speaker of the house, and addressed to an unnamed individual, perhaps Patrick Henry, Thomas Jefferson, or Richard Henry Lee, who formed the committee that drew up the Virginia resolution.
